PRIDE NORTHSHORE 2026
Northshore’s Month-Long Celebration of LGBTQ+ Pride
Pride Northshore Parade & Block Party — Saturday, May 30 • Mandeville Lakefront
A community celebration of visibility, belonging, and connection for LGBTQ+ people and allies across Southeast Louisiana.
WHAT IS PRIDE NORTHSHORE?
PRIDE Northshore is Southeast Louisiana’s all-ages celebration of LGBTQ+ Pride Month, produced by the St. Tammany-based nonprofit Queer Northshore.
Our mission is simple: to increase visibility, strengthen community, and foster acceptance for LGBTQ+ individuals and families across the Northshore region.
Through events, partnerships, and public celebration, Pride Northshore creates space for people to gather openly, safely, and joyfully in a region where that visibility has not always been guaranteed.

WHY PRIDE NORTHSHORE MATTERS
Pride events exist around the world to celebrate identity, dignity, and equal belonging.
In smaller or less-accepting communities, they also serve another purpose:
to signal that LGBTQ+ people are seen, supported, and part of the fabric of local life.
Pride Northshore brings that visibility to Southeast Louisiana’s Northshore, creating opportunities for connection, celebration, and community building throughout the month of June.
About this year’s theme: We Rise Together is a call to action and a promise. It means standing shoulder to shoulder with all who are oppressed. We stand with the immigrants who live among us. We stand for a future rooted in justice, safety, and belonging. We stand for a world where the right to exist freely and peacefully is fundamental, not conditional.
This Pride, we rise in joy. We rise in solidarity. We rise in defiance of fear. And most importantly, we rise together.
A MONTH OF PRIDE ACROSS THE NORTHSHORE
Pride Northshore includes a month-long series of events, performances, and community gatherings hosted by Queer Northshore and local partners.
From live music and drag performances to partner-hosted experiences across local businesses, Pride Month becomes a region-wide celebration of creativity, culture, and connection.
THE PRIDE NORTHSHORE PARADE & BLOCK PARTY
The Pride Northshore Parade brings together LGBTQ+ community members, allies, local organizations, and supporters in a visible celebration of inclusion and belonging.
Following the parade, the community gathers for the Pride Northshore Block Party—an all-ages, free public event featuring performances, music, food, community partners, and interactive experiences.
These events create a shared space where families, friends, and neighbors can celebrate together.
