BLOCK PARTY FEATURES

VOICES OF PRIDE: This interactive art installation created by Erica Radosta is a space for protest, pride, and power—made by the community, for the community. Grab a Sharpie, find a blank sign that speaks to you, and fill in your truth. There are no wrong answers.

DRAG PERFORMANCES: Experience the Queens and Kings of the Northshore with performances from Tuffy Love, Lana O’Day, Thorne Hart, and Miranda Mann. Make sure to bring those dollar bills to tips the performers. Schedule and more info below. 

OFFICIAL PRIDE SHOP: Last year we sold out of our limited edition Pride Northshore swag, and this year we’re back with a whole new lineup including Stickers, Tees, Tanks, “RESIST” Clack Fans, and our official Pride Northshore “Protesting with Pride” commemorative poster by Ashley Franklin AKA @wafflez. Cash and Venmo accepted. ATM on site. 

COMMUNITY PARTNERS: Be sure to visit our community partner tables, including National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Southeast Louisiana, Northshore Robotics, Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, St Tammany Library Alliance, Young Democrats of Louisiana, and more. 

ON-SITE BAR: Visit the bar where our LGBTQ+ bartenders are offering beer, wine, specialty cocktails and bottled water. Thanks to Gnarly Barley and Champagne Beverage for sponsoring us this year. Cash and Venmo accepted. ATM on site. 

FOOD TRUCKS: Grab a bite to eat from Smokin’ Buddha BBQ & Taco y Birria parked along Woodrow Street. Vegetarian options available. Cash and Card accepted. ATM on site. 

FOR THE KIDS (& KIDS AT HEART): Let loose in bounce houses provided by Fais Do Do Party and cool off in Mandeville Trailhead’s splash pad. 

DANCE FLOOR: Make your way to the front of the stage where DJ Tiger invites you to dance to the beats of Pride. 

RESTROOMS: There are restrooms located in the buildings on both sides of the trailhead.
