To increase LGBTQ+ visibility, community, and acceptance, Queer Northshore presents the 2nd Annual Pride Northshore Parade and festivities, June 1 - 30.
What is PRIDE Northshore?
PRIDE Northshore is Southeast Louisiana’s celebration of LGBTQ+ PRIDE Month (June 1 - 30), produced by St Tammany-based nonprofit, Queer Northshore. As a 501c3, our mission is to promote LGBTQ+ visibility, community and acceptance through programing and events in the Northshore region of Southeast Louisiana.
The Northshore’s PRIDE Parade - June 7
While Pride is a celebration, it has always been an act of resistance. This year, as LGBTQ+ rights face relentless attacks from those in power in our state and country, our theme—“Protesting with PRIDE”—honors the bold legacy of the 1969 Stonewall Riots, which sparked the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. In that spirit, we gathered on June 7th, not only to celebrate—but to demand change. We marched not just for joy, but for justice. We rallied not just for visibility, but for liberation. With over 600 participants, we marched together, Protesting with PRIDE to an audience of over 3,000 attendees. Following the parade the Pride Northshore Block Party took place at the Mandeville Trailhead. This free, all-ages event featured Drag Queens, a DJ, Interactive Pride Art Installation, Community Partner Booths, the Official Pride Shop, Food Trucks, an On-Site Bar, and More.
The Rainbow Riot Dance Party - June 20
Join us for Pride Northshore’s Rainbow Riot Dance Party—a night of love, resistance, and unapologetic queer joy. Inspired by the defiant spirit of the Stonewall Riots, this 21+ dance party is your chance to let loose, slay on the dance floor, cheer on the queens, and bask in the glow of community. PRIDE is a party AND a protest—and this is your invitation to do both. This night is all about freedom of expression. From crop tops, harnesses, sequins, and sweats to glitter, leather, booty shorts and ballgowns—if it makes you feel like that bitch, it’s welcome. Bring your crew, bring your vibe, and let’s make some riotous, rainbow-colored magic. Tickets: $5 online | $10 at door.

The Pride Northshore Billboard
We’ve raised the funds to purchase a digital billboard in Mandeville along Hwy 190 that proudly reads “YOU ARE LOVED”, with the Pride and Trans flags shining brightly in the background. This message isn’t just about visibility — it’s about belonging. For every LGBTQ+ person who has ever felt unseen or unsafe, this billboard is a beacon. A reminder: you have a home here.
