You are invited to participate in the third annual PRIDE Northshore Parade!

Date: Saturday, May 30, 2026
Check-in: 2:00–3:15 PM
Lineup: 3:00 PM
Parade Start: 4:00 PM
Lineup Location: Neutral Ground at Claiborne Street and Marigny Avenue in Mandeville.
New Route: Marigny Avenue → Lakeshore Drive → Girod Street
Finish: Mandeville Trailhead (Block Party begins immediately after)
Registration: Sliding scale ($0–$20) so everyone can participate

First time marching in Pride? Individuals are welcome — you do not need to be part of a group to join the parade.

Queer Northshore will host its 3rd Annual Pride Northshore Parade on Saturday, May 30. The parade is open to members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies of all ages who wish to celebrate Pride and stand in solidarity with our community.

This Year’s Theme: We Rise Together
Selected by a vote of our community, this year’s theme reflects both resilience and responsibility. In a moment when authoritarian oppression threatens the safety, dignity, and freedom of so many, we choose to rise — not in isolation, not in silence, but together, with courage, clarity, and community at the center.

How Parade Registration Supports Pride
Pride Northshore serves as Queer Northshore’s annual fundraiser. Registration donations help support Pride programming throughout the month of June and sustain the work Queer Northshore does year-round. Every dollar raised goes directly toward building community events, programs, and advocacy across the Northshore.

Pride Block Party
Immediately following the parade, everyone is invited to join us at the Mandeville Trailhead for the Pride Block Party. The celebration is free and open to the public. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and the Pride Market will be taking place before the Parade at Tandem Coffee & Cocktails.

Parade Registration Options

We use a sliding-scale registration so that everyone who wants to participate can do so. Please choose the option that feels right for you.

  • Pride Parade — General Registration ($10)
    This donation provides a wristband allowing you to walk in the parade as part of Queer Northshore. If you are walking with a registered group, do not purchase an individual ticket. Your group leader will coordinate group registration.

  • Pride Parade — Bonus Registration ($20)
    This option is for those who are able to contribute a little extra. Your donation covers your own participation and helps support another community member who may not be able to afford a ticket.

  • Pride Parade — Open Door Registration ($0)
    This option ensures that no one is excluded from Pride because of cost. No proof of financial hardship is required. Simply select this option and pick up your wristband at registration like everyone else.
